Jim Anderson will show how use of unusual or recycled materials, an economic approach, and an irreverent attitude to established technique can result in printmaking of great power and charm. He will demonstrate how chance encounters, lucky accidents, and the strange patterns of recent history have affected the evolution of his own working practice and imagery, with hands-on demonstration of his methods.
Adam Bridgland will be talking about his artistic practice and how printmaking has played an important role in establishing him as an artist. Adam will focus on his recent work, as well as his development in print, studying firstly at Norwich School of Art and Design and later at the Royal College of Art, London. Adam's current work at Jealous Print Gallery and Studio in London and his previous job helping manage the Royal College of Art Printmaking Publications will also be in discussion and how these have helped inform his own practice, as well as expanding his understanding of printmaking
